Free Eye Checkup Camp at Mandideep, Bhopal

A Free Eye Checkup Camp was successfully organized at Mandideep, located in Bhopal, on 15th February 2025, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The camp was conducted as part of an ongoing initiative to raise awareness about eye health and provide accessible eye care services to local residents and workers in the industrial area.

The event was organized by Vision Academy, in collaboration with Vision Care. A dedicated team of senior ophthalmologists and eye care professionals was present on-site to carry out detailed eye examinations, vision testing, and provide expert consultations — completely free of cost.

The camp received a good response, with over 26 beneficiaries availing of the services. Patients were screened for various eye conditions including refractive errors, cataracts, and signs of diabetic retinopathy, with referrals offered to those requiring further treatment.

This effort reinforced the importance of routine eye checkups, especially in semi-urban and industrial zones, to ensure early detection and prevention of vision-related issues.
