“Dr. Gajendra Chawla, Chairman of the center, is a highly skilled ophthalmologist with extensive experience in vitreo-retinal surgery. After completing his master’s degree in ophthalmology from Gandhi Medical College Bhopal in 1991, he underwent a two-year fellowship at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, a world-renowned institute. 

He worked as a vitreo-retinal consultant at Venu Eye Institute New Delhi and Bhopal Eye Hospital before founding his own exclusive eye hospital, Vision Care & Research Center, in 2008. 

Dr. Chawla’s areas of interest include diabetic eye disease and retinopathy of prematurity. He is also the founder chairman of NGO Vision Academy – The Socio Medical Society, which aims to provide professional services to the most needy and underprivileged sections of society.”
